About The BAND
The Jason Jones Band is an electrifying Americana/Rock ensemble from the heart of Upstate South Carolina, weaving together the soul of the mountains with the raw energy of rock. Since forming in 2019 in Virginia, the band has been on a sonic journey led by the versatile Jason Jones, who embodies the roles of lead vocalist, guitarist, pianist, and harmonica player, as well as the band’s chief songwriter.

The band’s founding lineup included producer Matt Singleton, known for his work with Train and Storm Large, among others. Together, they unleashed “All These Years” in 2019, followed by a string of singles in 2020-21. After Jason’s move to South Carolina, the band found new life and rhythm with the addition of Dina Zaphiris on bass and backing vocals, and Todd Labrie on drums and percussion—partners both on stage and off, as the married couple brings a unique synergy to the group. Their musical blend came to life when Jason, dropping off an amp at an acquaintance’s home, joined Todd for an impromptu jam session, sparking a partnership that reignited Todd’s passion for drumming.
Dina, not just a musician but an animal trainer with an astonishing resume, adds layers of intrigue to the band. Her clients have included stars like Al Pacino and Nicholas Cage, and she’s graced shows like “The Bonnie Hunt Show” and “Steve Harvey” while also having her own show on Animal Planet called “PetFinder”. She’s also a published author and a pioneer in canine health training with the creation of the first medical and bio-dog training protocol for cancer detection dogs.

Todd, behind his Barton Drums (a company he owns), brings a heartbeat to the band that echoes his past in the New York and LA music scenes. His drums, played by numerous renowned drummers, lend a layer of prestige to the band’s sound.
The band’s evolution continued with Jason completing songs started with Matt, recording with legends like Tim Lawter from the Marshall Tucker Band, Phil Lister of Dixiana, and working with composer and producer Daniel Cossu (Cinetrax). Their music, a fusion of Americana, Folk, and Rock, carries the soulful, gritty vocals of Jason, reminiscent of Springsteen and Petty, over a dynamic rhythm section, enriched with keys and harmonica.

Their narrative is one of transformation and connection, from the Virginia mountains to the South Carolina hills, where they met and melded into a band that speaks to the heart. Their tracks are deeply personal, echoing themes of love, struggle, and triumph, resonating with anyone who’s lived through the ups and downs of life.
Now, with new material on the horizon, The Jason Jones Band is set to captivate audiences further, with each performance building their legend. The Jason Jones Band isn’t just playing music; they’re weaving tales of love, loss, and the human spirit, all while their songs become anthems for anyone who’s ever lived, loved, or dreamed.
